The Fabergé firm produced silver-mounted glass and porcelain objects in both its Moscow and St Petersburg workshops. Made in Moscow, these crimson lead crystal rococo-style bulbous decanters are mounted with chased silver dolphins, their mouths forming the spouts and the arched, scaled bodies forming the handles.

Purchased by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, 1973
