Worn for the wedding of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, 29 July 1981 at St Paul’s Cathedral. This ensemble consists of a short-sleeved dress with a fabric tie-belt trimmed with pearl tassles worn beneath a softly tailored coat, pleated from the yoke. The strong line of the front of the plain hat is softened by the silk chiffon flowers applied around the sides and back.
