A drawing after a tondo by Alessandro Tiarini of The Judgement of Solomon: the two women claiming to be the mother of the infant, stand either side of the swordsman who holds the baby by the ankle. King Solomon adresses one of the women whilst gesturing towards the other. Initialled, below: A(lessandro) T(iarini) I(nvenit) P(inxit) J(acobus) A(lessandro) C(alvi) D(esignavit).
