A drawing of the Virgin and Child with Sts Francis, Clara and Catherine of Siena. Inscribed in pencil, 'And[rea] da Saler[no]'; Popham stated 'like all other attributions to that artist I have seen, [this] is quite arbitrary. I do not know where to place this uninteresting drawing of the end of the XVI century'. But this judgment seems rather harsh, and the drawing appears to be of the earlier XVI, perhaps Bolognese, around Bagnacavallo.
