A battle at a river c.1550-1600
-
A pen and ink drawing, with wash, of a battle, perhaps the Battle of the Milvian Bridge (AD 312). Anthony Blunt suggested that the drawing 'is certainly late sixteenth-century French and seems to come nearest to the manner of the younger Jean Cousin'.
