An Earl's coronet of gilt metal, silver, ermine, red velvet and gold thread. The thick gilt metal band edged with ermine is chased and embosed with representations of gemstones. Eight strawberry leaves protrude with eight silver "pearls" raised on stalks above. Red velvet centre with gilt thread finial. Interior lined with white satin. Contained within a fitted wooden box lined with white satin.
