Inscribed above mounted sheet: This sketch was made by Her Majesty from the Play of "The Corsican Brothers" performed at Windsor Castle - 1852. The Corsican Brothers was never performed at Windsor Castle. Queen Victoria did however see the play performed on both 28 February and 23 March 1852 at the Princess's Theatre, London.
