A watercolour showing a view of Loch Builg. The loch is shown in the foreground, with a forest shown on its banks below and hills shown behind. Inscribed on RCIN 981651.f verso: Loch Bulig [sic] Sept: 13 1880. While staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots, often sketching what she saw. On 13 September 1880, the Queen visited Loch Builg with members of her household.
