A pencil drawing with touches of white bodycolour showing a study of a male head. The man is shown from behind, facing right and looking back over one shoulder. He has long hair and a moustache. Inscribed lower right: Helena August. 26. 1856.
Queen Victoria's children often made cards and drawings for their parents as gifts on important dates such as this drawing executed by Princess Helena for her father's birthday on 26 August 1856.
