A watercolour showing a battle scene. Two groups of cavalry soldiers are shown charging at each other to the right. An officer is shown leading a group of infantry soldiers to the lower left and a further officer is shown standing on a ridge above. He is holding a telescope to one eye and is wearing a bicorn hat. A castle is shown burning in the background.
