A tree is shown to the left, with it's branches hanging down to the upper right. A small town with a tall tower is shown in the background. Inscribed lower left: Oct: 1 - 1860. VR. del. Inscribed below the mounted sheet: Coburg from the Terrace of the Kallenberg sketched just before the Prince's bad accident. - From 22 September to 17 October 1860, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert travelled to Germany with their second daughter Princess Alice to visit their married daughter Victoria, Princess Royal. They stayed in the Palace at Coburg from 25 September to 10 October 1860. On the 1 October 1860 Prince Albert was involved in a coach accident, leaving him severely shaken.
