A watercolour showing a view of a house in a valley, probably in Baden-Baden. The valley is shown in the lower foreground, with trees shown to the left. A loose building is shown behind the trees, with further trees shown in a row behind. There is an illegible inscription to the lower left. Inscribed lower right: April 1880. Queen Victoria stayed in the Villa Hohenlohe, Baden-Baden, from 26 March to 15 April 1880. The Villa Hohenlohe, formally the Villa Delmar, was left to Queen Victoria by her half-sister, Princess Feodore of Leiningen on her death in 1872.
