A watercolour showing a view of a Highland landscape, possibly in Glen Ey. A ridge is shown in the foreground to the left, sloping down to the centre. Further hills are shown behind and in the background. Inscribed to right of mounted sheet: From Frithbuie Oct [?18] 1967 (Luncheon) While staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. On 18 October 1867 the Queen visited the Altanour Lodge in Glen Ey with her daughter Princess Helena and son-in-law Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein.
