A watercolour showing a view of trees in Windsor Great Park, probably from the Sandpit Gate. Trees are shown across two sheets of paper, joined at the centre. Inscribed along left edge: May. 17. /68. Queen Victoria describes how she "Drove with Lenchen... to Sandpit Gate, where we took tea under the trees & sketched" in her journal entry of 17 May 1868, adding that "It was delicious there".
