A watercolour showing a view of a Highland landscape near Tomintoul. A ridge is shown in the foreground, sloping down from the left. A mountain is shown in the background. Inscribed below mounted sheet: Beyond Tomantoul [sic] Sep 27 1867. Queen Victoria stayed at Glen Fiddich Shooting Lodge from 24 to 27 September 1867 as a guest of the Duke of Richmond. The Royal party passed through Tomintoul on their way back to Balmoral on 27 September 1867.
