A watercolour showing a view of the Linn of Quoich. A forest is shown in the foreground, against a blue sky. Inscribed on RCIN 980040.bh verso: Lynn [sic] of Quoich Oct: 20/66. Inscribed below mounted sheet: Linn of Quoich - Oct: 18. 1866. Verso: first half of RCIN 980040.bj This sketchbook has been mounted and rebound, it is likely that Queen Victoria made a mistake with the date when writing the new inscriptions on the folios. Queen Victoria visited the Linn of Quoich on 20 October 1866 with her daughter Princess Helena and son-in-law Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein.
