A watercolour showing a view of Felagie, Aberarder. Heather is shown in the foreground to the lower right. Highland hills are shown in the background. Inscribed below mounted sheet: Looking up at Felagie Aberarder Sept: 15. 1866. While staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. On 15 September 1866 the Queen drove around Invercauld in a carriage with her daughters Princess Helena and Princess Louise.
