Inscribed lower left: Sept: 4 /64 Inscribed below pasted down sheet: From near the Boat Pool. Balmoral - Sept: 1864. While staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. On 4 September 1864, the Queen went out walking and sketching with her fourth daughter, Princess Louise.
