A watercolour showing trees in Frogmore Garden. Inscribed lower right: Frogmore, July 11. 67 Inscribed below pasted down sheet: In Frogmore Garden July 11 - 1867. On 11 July 1867, while staying at Windsor Castle, Queen Victoria breakfasted at Frogmore. The Queen records her visit in her journal entry of that day, describing how she then "sat writing & painting on the lawn close to the house."
