A album containing 115 drawings by Queen Victoria. The drawings, which date from 1855 to 1860, show studies of Queen Victoria's children and views of landscapes near the royal residences (Windsor Castle, Osborne House and Balmoral). The album also contains drawings documenting Military reviews that the queen attended, and visits to the continent in 1857 and 1858.
The album is half-bound with green binding and darker green leather spine and corners. A gilt title inscribed SKETCHES FROM NATURE V.R. 1855 TO 1860 on a dark green leather square is attached to the front of the volume.
