A pencil drawing showing a house near Dittisham, Devon. The house is shown from the River Dart, with the river in the foreground. A small boat is shown moored at a wall on the riverbank. Inscribed upper right: [Two illegible words] Greenway on the Dart drawn from the Barge. Aug. 11. 1856. On 10 August 1856, Queen Victoria sailed from Osborne House to Plymouth with her husband, Prince Albert and some of their children. On 11 August 1856, The Royal Family sailed up the River Dart to Dittisham for the day before mooring in Dartmouth Harbour overnight.
