A pencil drawing showing a view of a craggy waterfall, on the Baloral Estate, possibly Glas-allt Falls.
Queen Victoria visited All-an-Dubh (Dhu) Loch with her two eldest daughters on 3 October 1854. She records the day in her journal and describes how they "rode on to the Dhu Loch, along that fine, picturesque path". She also describes "picking wild flowers & sketching, on the way" back to the royal bothy, Glas-allt-shiel, where she and Prince Albert were staying. -
