Princess Victoria was the first child of Queen Victoria's second daughter, Princess Alice, and her Husband, Prince Louis of Hesse. She was born on 5 April 1863 at Windsor Castle. Princess Victoria of Hesse was the maternal grandmother of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. -
