A pencil and two ink studies showing Queen Victoria's youngest child Princess Beatrice. In the lower study she is shown in pencil, seated with her feet out in front of her. She is facing left in profile, looking down at her feet. In the upper studies she is shown, in ink, standing. She is shown from behind in the study to the left and facing right and holding two nosegays in her hands to the right.

Inscribed above pasted in sheet: Beatrice.
Princess Beatrice was given two nosegays to hold in the nursary as part of the celebrations for her second birthday. -
