Princess Victoria saw The Revolt of the Harem performed at the Covent Garden Theatre on 11 Feb 1834. The young princess took a particular interest in the costumes she had seen worn in theatrical performances. In her journal entry of that day, she describes Larche as "a very pretty little person". -
