A watercolour with gold paint showing the ballet dancer Signora Cortesi as the character of Donna Bianca in the Italian ballet of Ines di Castro. She is shown full-length, facing forward with her face turned right in profile. She is shown dressed in a white theatrical costume trimmed with gold.

Princess Victoria saw Ines di Castro performed at the King's Theatre on 4 June 1833. In her journal entry of that day, the young princess describes Cortesi as "a handsome person & a good actress". -
