An album of nine pen and ink portrait sketches by Benjamin R. Haydon (RCIN 923975-923983) each signed with initials and dated at lower left; including a copy of Haydon's 'Explanation of the Picture of the Mock Election, which took place at the King's Bench Prison, July,1827'; with addtional notes by Haydon. The album is full bound in red leather, with decorative gold tooling, and the Royal Arms front and back.
