An album of drawings of bas-reliefs from the exterior of the Palazzo Ducale at Urbino, intended as preparation for engravings. Bound in red sheepskin and gold-tooled with the arms of Pope Clement XI (reigned 1700-21), who bequeathed his huge collection to his nephew, Cardinal Alessandro Albani. In 1762 George III bought most of Albani’s collection of drawings and prints.
