Description

A full length fitted lime-green silk house coat embroidered with small silk flower posies. Three-quarter length puffed sleeves and waist fastening. Made from a piece of the lime-green silk wall-covering in Queen Elizabeth's bedroom in the Palais du Quai d'Orsay

Provenance

State Gift to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose from the Children of France. Given to them during a State Visit to France by the King and Queen in 1938.
