An off-white Ascot gown of mousseline de soie with gold thread bows & stars around the hem, wide lapelled collar edged in brown stitching, puff sleeves. Petticoat of silk and wide brimmed hat of silk with two gold bows and wide cream bow at back.
Provenance
State Gift to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose from the Children of France. Given to them during a State Visit to France by the King and Queen in 1938.
