A rectangular silver filigree box, the hinged lid decorated with gilt metal elements of a Secretary bird (the national emblem of Sudan) and a cotton plant bud (the major industry of the Wad Madani region), engraved with an image of the Sennar Dam, Sudan. With snakeskin and leather box lined in red velvet.

Presented to Queen Elizabeth II in Wad Madani during her State Visit to Sudan, 8–12 February 1965.
