Two watercolours, one of Queen Victoria's birthday table arranged at Osborne 24 May 1853, and the other a sketch of the full-length statue by Benjamin Spence (RCIN 2075), depicting the character in Burns's poem, that was given to the Queen by Prince Albert. Dated.
Provenance
Commissioned by Queen Victoria; Roberts was paid 8gns for the birthday table watercolour and two 'small separate sketches of statues', including travelling expenses (RA PP2/2/3380)
