A pen and ink design for a frieze under the pediment on the east front of Buckingham Palace. Flaxman was commissioned to design the decoration on the facades of the Palace being redesigned by John Nash for George IV, but died before the work was finished. This design, showing the Pacification of Europe, was unexecuted.
