Similar to 922180. The bay end of the room, with red satin damask walls, curtains and seated furniture. Large chandelier to right. Full length windows, mirrors in between. Dutch/Flemish picltures. Candelbras on plinths. Fleur-de-lys carpet.
The paintings in the room can be identified from contemporaneous inventories. Each wall has a large painting over three smaller ones; the group we see here includes Teniers's Peasants Dancing (406363) over an Adriaen van der Velde landscape (404137) and an Ostade Interior (404814). -
