Wood pannelled walls, pictures on far end above fireplace, tapestries on north wall, obscured by paintings. Long corridor of rooms seen through door to right.
The paintings in this room can all be identified with some confidence. Moving clockwise, beginning with the overdoor (Rousseau, Ruins, RCIN 402933); a portraits of William III as a child (RCIN 402684) hangs over Henry Frederick of the Palatinate (403511), balancing Miereveld's Prince Rupert (405875) over Lotto's Andrea Odoni (405776), framing a duplicate of Van Dyck's famous portrait of Charles I (404552); four genre paintings by Cipper (402530, 402533, 402535 & 402539) surround Karel van Mander III's portrait of Christian IV (402924); the final overdoor is by Achtschellings (402925) -
