The paintings in this room can all be identified with some confidence. Moving clockwise, beginning with the overdoor (Rousseau, Ruins, RCIN 402933); a portraits of William III as a child (RCIN 402684) hangs over Henry Frederick of the Palatinate (403511), balancing Miereveld's Prince Rupert (405875) over Lotto's Andrea Odoni (405776), framing a duplicate of Van Dyck's famous portrait of Charles I (404552); four genre paintings by Cipper (402530, 402533, 402535 & 402539) surround Karel van Mander III's portrait of Christian IV (402924); the final overdoor is by Achtschellings (402925)
