A watercolour of the house in which Prince Albert and his brother lodged while studying at Bonn University, 1837-8. Reproduced in the Illustrated London News, 23 August 1845, with variations. There, it is described as standing in University Street, at an angle to the Cathedral. Queen Victoria visited Bonn in August 1845. She recorded in her Journal that she had seen 'dear Albert's former little house'. and that 'It was such a pleasure for me to see & go all over it. It is left quite unaltered, just as it was, when he lived there' (Journal 12 August 1845).

From the third of Queen Victoria's Souvenir Albums. Either owned by Prince Albert or drawn for the Queen's album.
