A watercolour ground plan of the site of the Royal Pavilion showing the proposed Indian Suite of apartments, with a flap illustrating the ground plan of the site before and after alterations. Key to the lower right. A key explains that green indicates the summer garden, purple denotes 'spaces for various useful purposes', 'pale red' (pale pink) shows the 'winter gardens' and 'deep red' (dark pink) the hot houses, stoves, conservatories, etc. The plan has been further annotated with rough pencil inscriptions.
This drawing is part of Repton's Red Book for Brighton Pavilion (970493) submitted to George, Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1806.
