A drawing with pen and watercolour of an artillery carriage with a cannon on top to protect the cavalry that is being driven at great speed either during an advance or retreat. At the rear of the carriage ride four mounted soldiers firing their pistols. A second artillery carriage in the background. Possibly a copy of Rowlandson's.
