D&M 2: Fortified town in middle distance; troops gathering foreground; figures harvesting foreground right. Orsoy (on W. bank of the Rhine, N. of Düsseldorf) was besieged by Louis XIV & captured on 3/6/1672. Inscribed 'Le Clerc'.
