A watercolour drawing of an entertainment on horseback that took place during George IV's Coronation Banquet in Westminster Hall. Chandeliers dominate the hall which is filled with people, some in the galleries, some at long dining tables. At the High Table sits the King who is approached by men on horseback, followed by their courtiers.
Denis Dighton served as Military Painter to the Prince Regent and later King. -
