George Dance RA was a portraitist as well as architect and surveyor. This drawing shows the Revd. Joseph Pote, rector of St George's Southwark and prebendary of Lichfield Cathdral (c.1738-1797), not related to the bookseller Joseph Pote who wrote the first guidebook to Windsor Castle. -
