A pen and ink drawing with wash on card of a nude Phoebus Apollo kneeling on the back of a winged Pegasus, holding a torch aloft in his right hand. Signed and dated. Bonnat was a French portrait, history and landscape painter. According to Sir Lionel Cust in his Reminiscences (1930), Bonnat visited Windsor Castle during the reign of King Edward VII.
