A study of a horse and rider trotting in profile to the left between the shafts of a gun-carriage. The contraption is equipped with two cannons of light calibre which are joined at the back by an ammunition box. This is a fragment from the Codex Atlanticus, folio 382 recto-b. RL 12451 was also cut from this sheet.
