A drawing of a standing nude man, holding a slab of stone on his left shoulder with his right hand. This is one of a set of sixteen drawings (RCIN 911951-66), all copies of designs made by Poussin to be engraved as illustrations to an edition of Leonardo da Vinci's Trattato della pittura (Treatise on Painting), published in 1651 (the present design appears on p. 56, paragraph 200).
