A design for a printer's mark: within a cartouche flanked by statuary and antique architectural motifs and medallions, Apollo stands in glory, holding an open book; with the words Litterarum Felicitas on bands above. See also RCIN 807870.
RCIN 907629, 907630, 907631 and 907575 are printer's marks used repeatedly in Giambattista Pasquali's publications: RCIN 907629 appeared in the Virgil of 1736 and the Sallust of 1737; RCIN 907630 appeared in Muratori's Liturgia Romana Vetus of 1748; RCIN 907631 was published in Temanza's Delle Antichita di Rimino of 1741, and RCIN 907575 in Guicciardini's Istoria d'Italia of 1738.Provenance
