A black chalk drawing of the head and shoulders of a man from behind. Inscribed on the verso: No. 33 JS. A study for the sick man who was healed in Ricci's painting The Pool of Bethseda formerly in the Royal Collection (RCIN 400080) and now at Osterley Park, London.
