A black chalk drawing of a woman kneeling with a child. Inscribed on the recto with some unintelligible words, and on the verso: No. 38 JS, with another drawing of the same figures. A study for the figures in the left foreground of Ricci's painting The Pool of Bethseda formerly in the Royal Collection (RCIN 400080) and now at Osterley Park, London.
