A pen and ink drawing of the Virgin Mary standing on a dragon. Inscribed on the verso: No. 47 JS. A study for the painting of the Immaculate Conception in S. Vitale, Venice, painted before 1732. Two other studies for the painting are RCINs 907109 and 907110.
