A pen and ink and wash drawing of two female figures gesturing towards the sky, one with an arrow in her breast. Inscribed on the verso: No. 44 JS. The figure appears in a drawing of a larger composition in an album of Ricci drawings in the Accademia, Venice (page 84), in which the subject is identified as Apollo killing Coronis, told by Ovid (Metamorphoses, II, 542-611).
