Flintlock magazine musket. Walnut stock, velvet cheekpad, silver heel with a hinged lid for cleaners; triggerguard and mounts of silver cast and chased with trophies of arms and scrollwork. Steel barrel partly circular and partly octagonal, inlaid with gold and the name CHALEMBROM.
Man's head finial underneath the barrell.Provenance
Acquired by George III. Moved from Buckingham House to George IV's Armoury at Carlton House in 1820.
